What types of sessions do you offer?

Faithful Light Studios specializes in maternity, family, couples, children, graduation, celebration, portrait, and professional headshot photography. From documenting the anticipation of motherhood and the connection between loved ones to celebrating birthdays, accomplishments, and personal milestones, each session is thoughtfully designed to preserve memories that matter most.


If you have a special idea or unique vision for your session, I'd love to hear about it and explore how we can bring it to life together.

Do you require a retainer?

Yes. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve personal portrait and headshot sessions. The retainer is applied toward your total session cost, with the remaining balance due before your session.

How do I book a session?

Begin by filling out the contact form on the website. Let me know what type of session you are interested in and your preferred date. Once details are confirmed, you will receive a written agreement and invoice so your session can be officially reserved.

How far in advance should I book?

For personal portraits and headshots, I recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. Spring, fall, and holiday seasons tend to fill quickly.


For schools, teams, or larger group sessions, booking 4 to 8 weeks (or earlier) is ideal. This allows time for planning, scheduling, and creating a smooth, organized photo day experience for everyone involved.


If you’re on a tighter timeline, feel free to reach out. I’ll always do my best to accommodate when possible.

Where do sessions take place?

Majority of sessions booked are held are held in our clean, studio setup located in Laplata, Md

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, please notify me as soon as possible so we can find a new available date. Your retainer may be applied to a rescheduled session within the allowed time frame stated in your contract.

Do you offer themed sessions like cake smashes or birthdays?

Yes. I can create custom setups for special sessions such as birthdays or cake smashes. Clients are welcome to bring specific items that match their vision or I can source décor for you with a fee.

Do you offer both color and black and white images?

Absolutely. Personal portrait sessions include both color and black and white versions of every delivered image for a classic, timeless look.


For headshots, teams, and school sessions, image delivery is customized based on the needs of the organization.

Are the photos retouched?

Yes. Each image is professionally edited with natural color correction and light retouching to enhance skin tones, lighting, and minor distractions while keeping your portraits authentic and true to life.


My goal is polished, natural results, never heavy or over-edited.
